PR Happenings 3/11/24

This is the last week of school for quarter 3! Spring Break is right around the corner- (March 18th – 22nd and March 25th – 29th). Students will return to school on Monday, April 1st to begin quarter 4.  

PreSchool parents/guardians there will be NO PreSchool on April 5th and April 19th.

Our PTO Kindness movie day will be March 13th! Students will be watching the Charlie Brown Peanuts movie. If your child received an office referral during the kindness challenge they will be participating in a kindness lesson prior to joining their class for the movie. PTO will be serving popcorn and juice during the movie. Please remind your child’s teacher if an alternative option needs to be provided due to allergies.

Mark your calendar to join us for the Pleasant Ridge Drama Club and Talent Show performance on March 14th! Performers in the talent show need to be at school at 5:00.The Talent show will start at 5:30! Student Council will be providing concessions for the event. It will be a lot of fun! We can’t wait to see you there.

SPRING CLASSROOM PARTIES 

Spring Classroom Parties will take place this Friday, March 15th. Guests will not be allowed to attend. 

PALS SOCKS DAY THIS FRIDAY

In honor of Zoe, a first grade student at PR, we will be having Pals Socks Day this Friday, March 15th!  PR students in first grade will receive a pair of socks to wear and they will be sent home on Thursday, March 14th. ALL students are encouraged to wear crazy sock as we celebrate Zoe!

SUBSTITUTE HIRING INFORMATION

If you are interested in becoming a substitute teacher or  sub para educator for Greater Clark County Schools make sure to attend the hiring event. The event will take place March 14th from 11am-4pm at the GCCS Admin Building! Hiring Event

FOR PARENTS WHO HAVE  CHILDREN WITH AN IEP

Progress reports for your child’s IEP goals will be available to view through the EdPlan Connect platform, which is a secure place to access student records online.  You should receive an email from noreply@pcgus.com with instructions on how to access the documents.  If you have any questions or would like a printed copy, please contact your child’s Special Education Teacher or Speech-Language Pathologist.
