KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATION INFORMATION
Please mark your calendars for Kindergarten Graduation Celebrations as they will take place on Tuesday, May 20th. Each class will have a celebration and each student will be allowed two adults to attend. Each adult must be signed up to attend, sign up sheets have been sent home by classroom teachers. Please reach out to your student’s teacher if you need another form. To accommodate those who are not able to find childcare for their non school aged child, we will allow children that are not in school to attend the graduation ceremony with an adult and not count as one of the two guests who are allowed to attend for each student. Please note that if a child is school aged, they will count as one of the two guests. Other PR students cannot be removed from class to attend the ceremony without being signed out of school and counting as one of the two guests. Make sure to check the times listed below for each classroom’s celebration time.

PTO INFORMATION
The Pleasant Ridge PTO & Jonathan Jennings PTO are working together to make BIG plans for our brand new Charlestown Elementary PTO for the 2025 – 2026 school year! This is your opportunity to be a part of something fun and ground breaking in our school community and to create an exciting new environment for our kids and educators.

PR McPirate Night- April 8th from 4pm – 7pm. The PTO will receive 20% of all INSIDE DINING ROOM sales, so make sure to come in and order your food. The PTO will provide a fun bookmark craft for kids to work on while you wait for your order.
PR PTO Meeting- April 9th at 6pm in the PR cafeteria.This month will be a super fun baseball theme with yummy ballpark snacks! In case you haven’t gotten enough of those. We will also have activities for the kids. This will be our last PR PTO Meeting. Our May meeting will be a joint meeting with JJ and we will reveal the elected board members for the new CES PTO!
PTO Kindness Challenge Dress up Days- There will be dress up days this week (April 7th-11th) to promote our PTO Kindness Challenge. Check out the dress up days listed if your student would like to participate.

FAREWELL FIESTA
Make plans to Join us on May 5th for our Farewell Fiesta from 5:30-7:00 pm to see familiar faces and say goodbye to our building. There will be chips, dips, and drinks served as we celebrate the memories made over the years! Class photo collages will be auctioned off, and other special mementos will be available to purchase! 2025/2026 SCHOOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Registration for the 2025-2026 school year will open on Monday, March 24, 2025. Snapcode letters were mailed to all current preschool-eleventh grade students.

2025/2026 PRESCHOOL APPLICATION INFORMATION
The application process for the Greater Clark County Schools Preschool program opens April 1st! Please visit the link Preschool | Greater Clark County Schools to access the application on/after April 1, 2025. Please note that the application will not open until 9am on April 1st. All preschool spots will be dependent upon availability and completion of the registration process.
GCCS ELEMENTARY ART SHOW
Make plans to visit the GCCS Art Show April 10th-19th at the NOCO Art and Cultural Center in Jeffersonville, IN. There will be an Artists’ Reception Friday, April 11th from 5-7 pm. Click on the link to see different times the exhibit will open so you can plan your visit! GCCS Art Show
CHARLESTOWN HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL CAMP
Be on the lookout for permissions slips for the CHS end of the year Basketball Camp! The K-2 dates are set for May5th-May 8th. PR students will walk from PR to CHS with the CHS coaching staff. The camp will run from 3:30-5:00 pm.
