2nd Grade Parents/Guardians we are excited to share with you that Jonathan Jennings will be having a 3rd Grade Welcome Night on April 24th from 5-6:30pm for all incoming 3rd graders for the 2024-2025 school year. Please make plans to attend with your students! 

PreSchool parents/guardians there will be NO preschool on Friday, April 19th.

SPRING BOOK FAIR THIS WEEK!- The Scholastic Book Fair runs next week April 15-19.Please remember to set up your student’s eWallet by 8 a.m. of their library shopping day. You can find the eWallet link at our Book Fair website. Cash will also be accepted; however, eWallet ensures no money is lost. 

Students must buy a book before purchasing other items such as journals, pencils, posters, erasers, games, etc. Please talk with your child about your expectations for their Book Fair purchases. 2024/2025 SCHOOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION- Registration for the 2024-2025 school year opened April 1st! Snapcode letters were mailed to all current preschool-eleventh grade students. Use the link provided to Register your student. Students who are registered by May 24th will be able to find out their teacher for the 2024/2025 school year in early June!  

GCCS | Registration Information | Greater Clark County Schools

2024/2025 PRESCHOOL APPLICATION INFORMATION- The application process for the Greater Clark County Schools Preschool program opened April 1st! Please visit the link Preschool | Greater Clark County Schools to access the application. All preschool spots will be dependent upon availability and completion of the registration process. 

END OF SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL CAMP- The CHS boys basketball team and Coach Lynch will host an end of school basketball camp for boys based on their current 2022-2023 grade. K, 1st and 2nd grade boys are invited to the camp from May 13th – May 16th from 3:30 – 5:00.Campers will meet in the Pleasant Ridge gym and be escorted over to CHS by coaches. Officer Fisher will be blocking the road for campers and coaches to cross. Forms were made available to students last week, but they will also be available in the office if a student would like one. 

2024 MULTICULTURAL FAIR – Make plans to attend the Multicultural resource fair on Monday, April 22nd at 5:00pm at Charlestown High School. More information will be sent home closer to the date. 

GCCS ELEMENTARY ART SHOW- Be sure to visit the GCCS Art Show April 11th-21st at the NOCO Art Center in Jeffersonville, IN.

PTO INFORMATION- The PTO meeting this month will be Wednesday, April 17th at 6:00pm!
