READ ACROSS AMERICA
Please join us for Read Across America Day on Monday, March 3rd. Students may dress as their favorite book character or wear pajamas! We will celebrate the day with read alouds and other fun activities.
PR TALENT SHOW INFORMATION
Auditions are this week and will be held before school (8:35-9:00am) in the music room on March 3rd, March 4th, March 6th, and March 7th. There will be NO tryouts on March 5th, please plan accordingly. You must fill out the Google Form below BEFORE coming to audition.

This year the talent show will be on Thursday, March 13th. The Drama club will perform at 5:30 p.m that evening. The talent show will start around 6:00.If you have any special talents such as singing, comedy routines, dancing, magic tricks, etc. please come and try out!

2ND GRADE IREAD
This week (March 3rd-March 7th), our second grade students will be taking the IREAD assessment. Testing will begin in the morning. Please do your best to make sure students are on time. Once the assessment has started students who are tardy will not be able to enter the classroom. In this event your student will have to remain in the office until their class completes the testing session.
If your child has not yet returned their Chromebook and charger, they must be brought back to school by Monday, March 3rd for testing.
Please encourage your child to do their best! Thank you for your support!
BREAKFAST INFORMATION
In honor of National School Breakfast week all students will receive FREE breakfast on Wednesday, March 5th if they go through the breakfast line!
In conjunction with the IREAD testing our second graders will be participating in on Tuesday, March 4th and Thursday, March 6th second grade students only will receive free breakfast if they go through the breakfast line.
PRES PICTURE INFORMATION
Kindergarten Graduation Pictures and Spring Pictures will be taken by LDS Photography on Tuesday, March 11th! We will be send out information about how to order pictures soon!

Spirit Wear Store – Thank you so much for your votes! The top 3 designs have been submitted and we hope to have them up on the spirit wear store soon. Stay tuned for the link!
Stuffie Sleepover – Thank you to all of the preschool & kindergarten families that participated in our first ever PR Stuffie Sleepover! We had a blast and the stuffies all had a great time together. All students should come home with 3 photos. But we took many more. Don’t forget the first and second grade stuffie sleepover will be this Friday, March 7th. Please check your child’s folder for the info and registration form!
March 11th – McPirate Night 4pm – 7pm -PTO now only receives benefits from dining room sales. Please visit us inside! We will have bookmarks crafts for the kids to work on while you wait for your food.

For parents who have children with IEPs
Progress reports for your child’s IEP goals will be available to view through the EdPlan Connect platform, which is a secure place to access student records online. You should receive an email from noreply@pcgus.com with instructions on how to access the documents. If you have any questions or would like a printed copy, please contact your child’s Special Education Teacher or Speech-Language Pathologist.
