KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATION INFORMATION
Kindergarten Graduation Celebrations as they will take place on Tuesday, May 20th. Each class will have a celebration and each student will be allowed two adults to attend. Each adult must be signed up to attend, sign up sheets have been sent home by classroom teachers. Please reach out to your student’s teacher if you need another form. To accommodate those who are not able to find childcare for their non school aged child, we will allow children that are not in school to attend the graduation ceremony with an adult and not count as one of the two guests who are allowed to attend for each student. Please note that if a child is school aged, they will count as one of the two guests. Other PR students cannot be removed from class to attend the ceremony without being signed out of school and counting as one of the two guests. Make sure to check the times listed below for each classroom’s celebration time.

PTO INFORMATION-
2025 – 2026 PTO Board Ballot- Voting is now open for the new Charlestown Elementary PTO Board! Please use the link below. Voting window closes at the end of the day on Monday, April 21st. The results will be revealed at the next PTO meeting on May 14th. https://forms.gle/2Y9em9cuq8GxTe3e8
McPirate Night- Our last McPirate Night of the school year is Tuesday, May 13th from 4pm – 7pm. PTO receives 20% of all IN DINING ROOM sales. Mark your calendar!
PTO Meeting Our last PTO meeting of the school year will be a joint meeting with JJ PTO & families. It will take place on Wednesday, May 14th at 6pm in the Pleasant Ridge cafeteria. We will be revealing the new Charlestown Elementary board for the 2025 – 2026 school year and give our final report on how this last year with the PR PTO went. Snacks and activities for the kids will be provided.
Staff Appreciation Week-Staff appreciation week is coming up May 5 – 9! The PTO will be showering the staff with gifts, food, and lots of yummy treats, but we believe that they can never feel too loved. This is a great time to show your teachers, helpers, cafeteria workers, office staff, and custodians how much you appreciate them. Encourage your kids to give them a high five in the hallway, share some extra special words of thanks, write a note or draw a picture. There are so many ways to show them some love!
CHARLESTOWN HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL CAMP
The CHS boys basketball team and Coach Lynch will host an end of school basketball camp based on their current 2024-2025 grade. The K-2 dates are set for May 5th-May 8th. PR students will walk from PR to CHS with the CHS coaching staff. The camp will run from 3:30-5:00 pm. Girls are welcome to attend, however there will be a girls basketball camp the first week we are out of school!
2025/2026 SCHOOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Registration for the 2025-2026 school year will open on Monday, March 24, 2025. Snapcode letters were mailed to all current preschool-eleventh grade students.

2025/2026 PRESCHOOL APPLICATION INFORMATION
The application process for the Greater Clark County Schools Preschool program opened April 1st! Please visit the link Preschool | Greater Clark County Schools to access the application on/after April 1, 2025. All preschool spots will be dependent upon availability and completion of the registration process.
