Happy last week of school PR family!
We want to thank all of our students and families for a great school year! This is a busy week with lots of fun events for students so please see all of the details below. The last student day is this Thursday, May 25th. We look forward to celebrating all of our accomplishments this school year!
KINDERGARTEN -2ND GRADE FIELD DAY TOMORROW!
Field Day for Kindergarten – 2nd grade students is tomorrow, Monday, May 22nd. The weather forecast looks to be cool in the morning and warmer in the afternoon so please dress your child appropriately. Most field day activities take place in grassy areas, so please make sure your child is wearing older clothes with tennis shoes only. No flip flops please! There will be events where students will get wet, so a towel and a change of clothes is recommended. If you chose to send in lunch with your child, please only send in a sack lunch as students will not be eating in the cafeteria. Thank you to Mr. Doherty for planning a fun day for our students!
LIBRARY BOOK AND NURSE’S OFFICE CLOTHES REMINDER!
Please remember to send in any overdue library books to avoid any late fees.
Also, if your child borrowed any clothes from the nurse’s office, please make sure those are returned this week as well.

REGISTER FOR THE 23/24 SCHOOL YEAR BY FRIDAY AT NOON TO LEARN NEXT YEAR’S TEACHER!
Any current Kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grade student who is registered for the 2023-2024 school year by 12PM this Friday, May 26th will be notified of their child’s teacher for next year via a School Messenger email that will be sent by the first week of June. Thank you to everyone who has registered so far.
Please note that next year’s Kindergarten students, including any current Preschool students, who are registered for next school year by the above date will not be notified of their child’s teacher until after Camp Kindergarten, which takes place in July.
To register a K-12 student, please click HERE. You should have received your child’s Snapcode in the mail, or you can access it by logging into your PowerSchool Parent Portal account or by emailing codle@gccschools.com. Log in to the Parent Portal and there will be a menu bar to the left. Click on the “snapcode” icon at the top. If you are unable to access your child’s Snapcode, please contact the main office.
KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATIONS THIS WEDNESDAY MAY 24TH!
Kindergarten Graduation Celebrations will take place this Wednesday, May 24th. Each class will have a twenty minute celebration and each student will be allowed two adults to attend. To accommodate those who are not able to find childcare for their non school aged child, we will allow children that are not in school to attend the graduation ceremony with an adult and not count as one of the two guests who are allowed to attend for each student. Please note that if a child is school aged, they will count as one of the two guests and other PR students cannot be removed from class to attend the ceremony without being signed out of school and counting as one of the two guests.

EXTRA YEARBOOKS FOR SALE!
We have a very limited amount of extra yearbooks that will be on sale starting tomorrow morning. These will be sold on a first come first serve basis and we will only be accepting cash. Cost for a yearbook is $20.
